When it comes to server and website monitoring there is a wide variety of options ranging from Saas solutions to customizable software solutions that get installed in house. In order to leverage these systems to monitor specific software solutions you must have a deep understanding of writing custom checks in the monitoring software as well as a deep understanding of the application that you are monitoring.

This is where CRMState.com comes in to play. CRMState.com was written specifically to monitor SugarCRM at an application level. It starts with the installation of a native SugarCRM module that reports only the data required back to CRMState.com. CRMState then monitors the SugarCRM instance as well as the logs to look for potential issues. CRMState.com users can then configure when they will receive notifications.

Currently two flavors are available with a third on the way that will provide more SugarCRM monitoring functionality. The monitor only version is mainly focused on SugarCRM monitoring and notifications if the SugarCRM instance goes down. The Priority plan is a more proactive version that alerts users when SugarCRM fatal errors occur that could impact the system uptime or performance.
