On Saturday, September 19th, 2009 Atlanta will be hosting the 2009 Atlanta Linux Fest. Per the Atlanta Linux Fest Website "The Atlanta Linux Fest is a free grassroots conference for the GNU/Open Source Software/Free Software community to gather and share information about fun and exciting existing and upcoming Linux and Open Source Software.” Many of the presentations are already scheduled and include talks about Virtualization, Ubuntu Kernel, and Multi-Site Drupal Management.

Josh Sweeney, Founder of CRMStage, will be presenting “It’s a CRM Not A Platform.” This presentation strips away the standard CRM functionality that is seen in every CRM application to show the underlying strengths behind the systems that are built on platforms. Platforms such as SugarCRM can be used for a wide array of projects far surpassing many lightweight CRM Saas offerings.
