Requirements:
There are no module or version dependencies to complete this tutorial. You are required to have previous knowledge of how to add fields to a module using Studio.
Calculated fields in SugarCRM can be required for a number of reasons, examples include calculation of financial totals and automatic lead scoring. For brevity purposes we will add three numeric fields to and existing module and then use Javascript to calculate the total.
