Requirements:
This tutorial requires that your are using SugarCRM Pro or Enterprise with the Products modules provided in the SugarCRM package, and a basic understanding of SugarCRM Studio to create custom fields.
When new products are added to the SugarCRM Products module the fields get auto populated from the data in the Product Templates module. Many times there is a need to add custom fields to the Products Module that get auto populated when a product is created. In this tutorial we will take you through the steps required to add the custom fields and make sure that they are auto populated.
