Tutorial - Creating an Intermediary Relationship Module

It is sometimes necessary to relate two modules in SugarCRM, and also store additional data regarding that relationship. An example of this can be found in the relationship between Opportunities and Contacts. If you .... you will see that there is a role field, which stores the Contact’s role in regards to that particular Opportunity. This information is also reportable (if you are using Pro or above flavor). In this tutorial, we will look at duplicating this functionality by building an intermediary relationship module called “EmployeeInfo” which will create a relationship between a Contact and Account, as well as store two extra fields of data about this relationship.
